This quirky decorative pottery Irish Coffee mug was handmade in New Zealand in the 1980s & has been in my collection since new. It is in a beige coloured matte finish with a high closs band around the rim area and features the handle on the inside. It would make a terrific pen holder or perhaps to hold kitchen utensils.
Please note, the mug is not designed for use with hot or cold liquid; it is a decorative piece only.
Care instructions: do not submerge in water; wipe over with a damp cloth. Not for use in microwave or dishwasher.

- overall the mug is in very good vintage condition;
- there are some marks on the matte area;
- the base has wear commensurate with age & use;
- there is an indentation to the left of the word Irish, which occurred during the firing process; and
