A wonderful opportunity to acquire a signed Miriam Haskell black glass butterfly stick pin with floral clutch, which dates from the late 1940s onwards.

In dating this piece, it is important to note that filigree backs were used after World War II & signature plaques were added in the late 1940s. Haskell stickpins have a spring-loaded, decorative “clutch” which covers the point of the pin, holding it in place; this is usually a metal, floral adornment, however butterflies & doves are often used.  These decorative clutches are synonymous with the Haskell company.

Miriam Haskell jewellery is at the forefront of costume jewellery collecting, with an extensive range of necklaces, stick pins, bracelets, fur clips, rings, earrings & pins (brooches).  The stick pin will certainly appeal to Haskell collectors or would make a great entry piece for a new collector.
