This lovely English 2-handled Palissy lidded sugar bowl dates to c1976. It is a quality piece, decorated in the highly collectable “Game Series’ pattern with Mallard duck & grouse.

Royal Worcester Porcelain Co. purchased Palissy Pottery in 1958 & while Palissy Pottery produced the Game Series from 1908 – 1946, this piece is later. Royal Worcester was not included in the factory mark until 1976, when Royal Worcester, Spode & Palissy came under common ownership & Palissy continued to produce the Game Series until the 1980s.
