A lovely matching plate & saucer produced by Roslyn (Stoke-on-Trent) between 1946 & 1963. The design is No. 3 of 6 in the “The World Famous Wheatcroft Roses” series & features the white Virgo Rose accentuated with gold detailing. Both pieces are signed by the artist. Dimensions: Plate 15.5cm diameter Saucer 14cm diameter
These are ideal ‘replacement pieces’ or perhaps for a tea room specialising in mismatched china.
