This rare Poole Pottery stoneware clay Stoat (Model 641) was designed by Barbara Linley-Adams & produced between 1987 & 1989; it bears the finisher’s monogram for Janet Stone.
The Stoat (which is often mistaken for an Otter) in the brown colourway is a rare find & attributed the ‘3-star rarity’ rating by Poole expert Roger Hartley.
The figurine is stamped to the base, is in excellent condition with no damage or restoration and will definitely appeal to the serious Poole collectors. Dimensions: 17cm high
