RARE POINTONS ‘KENT’ DUO: 1883-1916
This rare Pointons duo dates to the period 1891-1916 & is decorated in the ‘Kent’ pattern. It features a delicate floral design with raised embossing around the edge of the saucer & the rim & base of the cup. Both are in perfect condition. For those who prefer a larer sized tea cup, the capacity of the cup is 250ml (the average cup is 150ml). Pointon & Co produced china at their Norfolk Street Works in Hanley from 1883 – 1916, when the business was sold. (source: M Perry)
