This genuine Lea Stein cellulose acetate ‘Fernand’ brooch is in the famous 3D Fox design and is decorated with the highly desirable musical notes pattern.   The brooch was designed in the 1960s and is still produced today; this particular brooch has a solid coloured back indicating it is from the later production period.  The brooch was sourced from England, is in excellent condition & comes with the requisite v-shaped ‘Lea Stein Paris’ clasp.   Dimensions: 9cm long x 6cm wide

Lea Stein is a French artist who is considered to be the most notable jewellery designer of cellulose jewellery of the 20th century. While her designs resemble the Art Deco period, they actually date to two distinct periods: vintage pieces 1969 to 1981 & modern pieces from 1991 onwards.
