This softcover publication was produced by The Illustrated London News & Sketch Ltd in 1937 to celebrate the Coronation of King George VI & Queen Elizabeth. The stunning colour plates are separated with tissue paper, together with fascinating congratulatory advertisements by various companies. Given its delicate nature, it is extremely difficult to photograph the contents, however I have included photos with partial samples of some pages.
Due to its size, the book doesn’t qualify for flat rate postage; the additional postage costs have been included in the purchase price.

- importantly the actual contents of the book are in very good condition;
- it will need to be handled with care; the cover has age related wear & considerable damage to the cover in the area of the spine;
- there is some “wrinkling” to the bottom edges of the pages and some age related browning & foxing to the outer edges; and
