This set of 4 vintage, highly collectable & sought after Susie Cooper Coffee Cans is decorated in the Magnolia Sage Green pattern, with gold dots & gold trim. They are in excellent condition & feature a sage green interior accentuated by an interior deep green band below the rim. Dimensions: 6.5cm high x 6.5cm across the rim.
Susie Cooper produced her pieces at the Crown Works in Burslem & is often compared to Clarice Cliff. In 1966 she became part of the Wedgwood Group, with Wedgwood continuing to use the Can shape originally designed by Susie. (sourse: susiecooper). The backstamp – printed mark on these pieces was in use from 1951 onwards, with the pattern now discontinued.
Due to the combined size & weight of the cups, they do not qualify for flat rate postage; the additional postage costs have been included in the purchase price.
