This vintage silver-plated Mizpah pendant from the mid 20th century was sourced from England. It features a central faux-citrine stone in a thistle & heart setting, together with the Mizpah stamp & “silver-plated” hallmark on the rear. It was acquired in the UK as part of a collection of a former employee of the company, where the brooches were manufactured. The necklace comes with a generic gift box. Dimensions: Pendant: 3.2cm H x 3cm W Chain: 21.5cm long (when worn)
Mizpah jewellery was first produced in the mid 1800s & later became popular during the Great War when “sweetheart jewellery” was exchanged between loved ones separated by war. It is still popular today as a gift of love. The necklace comes with a generic gift box.
