This is a mid 20th century Mingay Pottery lustre vase with a scalloped form. The outer edge is finished in shades of yellow, while the interior is in wonderful hues of pink & blue. The base is stamped Mingay 18.
Mingay (also known as Modern Ceramic Products or MCP) was an Australian pottery company that had its origins in 1944. The company expanded during the 1950s & early 1960s, producing some beautifully classic pieces of Australian pottery.
